Visitor Information

Ulverston Golf Club always offers a very warm welcome to its visitors.  To make your visit more enjoyable we respectfully ask that you note the following points designed to safeguard your safety and ensure a successful and enjoyable day with us.

  • If you wish to play any format other than stableford or bogey please advise the office so we can cater for your requirements.

  • Please play off the yellow tees for men, red tees for ladies.

  • Observe direction indicators for trolleys and do not take your trolley on the tees or between the green and greenside bunkers.

  • Repair pitch marks on greens, rake bunkers and return the rakes to their holders.

  • Please remember to give way to green staff working on the course.

  • Maintain an acceptable standard of appearance on the course and in the clubhouse.

  • Please avoid slow play, a four ball should be able to complete the course in or around 4 hours.

  • Our kitchens are closed on Mondays.  A sandwich service will be available.

  • Whenever possible order food requirements from our Caterers before commencing the round.

  • Please note Ladies Day is Tuesday when they have priority on the first tee.

  • Like all clubs there are times during the week when members play on a regular basis.  To avoid waiting or disappointment please contact Ruth or Helen at the Office or our Professional Paul for further information.

  • There are men’s competitions most Saturdays (April to October) but normally visitors can play after 3pm or 2pm on Sundays.  It is also worth enquiring about golf on Sunday mornings.

  • Full Disabled facilities are Available.
